CYMBIDIUM DAY & PAEONIA NIGHT.

Dos propuestas para el final de la primavera. Cymbidium verde con Hydrangea y Rosa Paeonía con Aspidistra Elatior. La teatralidad del trabajo en hojas de Fornium, el Equisetum y la tyfa, aportan movimiento a las formas redondeadas de la flor de Hortensia. Para el nocturno de peonías, multitud de hojas cortadas o dobladas, dan cierto aire de sobriedad al color "cereza" de la flor.

Two different offers by the spring end. Green Cymbidium with Hydrangea and Rosa Paeonía with Aspidistra Elatior. The theatricality of the work in Fornium's leaves, the Equisetum and the tyfa, they contribute movement to the forms rounded of Hortensia's flower. For the nocturne of peonies, multitude of sliced or double leaves, give certain air of sobriety to the "cherry" colour of  flowers.

ENSAYO SOBRE "ALMA" DE A-CERO EN DENDROBIUM Y GORGONIA.

"Alma" de A-cero, con su expectacular diseño, sigue sorprendiendo... Mucho más a quienes lo poseen. Si lo ves, lo tocas o lo iluminas, el flechazo es instantáneo. Joaquín Torres y Rafa Llamazares nos han llegado al "ALMA" con este diseño codiciado por interioristas, paisajistas y amantes de lo sublime.

Nunca un macetero me había inspirado tanto. A veces me lo imagino al lado del mar, otras sobre un prado verde y otras sobre la lava negra de Bali. ¿Y en medio de unas dunas desérticas con cáctus gigantes?

Esta vez evoca los mares del Sur... Con Dendrobium y ramas de Gorgonia que parece haber traído el mar.

A flower-pot stand had never inspired me so much. Sometimes I can imagine it next to the sea, others on a green meadow and others on the black lava of Bali. And in the middle of a desert dunes with giants cactus?

This time evokes the South Seas... With Dendrobium and Gorgonia's branches that the sea seems to have brought.

STRELITZIA´S DE-CONSTRUCTION. (A-CERO IN STUDIO).

Deconstrucción de flor de Strelitzia en matraces. El emblema de las Islas Canarias, frecuente en todo Macaronesia, se ha utilizado siempre como flor cortada. En este caso he decidido envolver los escapos florales en hojas de la misma planta, sumergirlas en tubos de ensayo para crear ese efecto "flotante" y que aparenten estar suspendidas en el espacio. la cápsula que envuelve las flores hace el efecto del tallo... Una manera diferente de resaltar la belleza que posee esta flor por si misma.

De-construction of Strelitzia's flower in flasks. The emblem of  Canary Islands, frequent in the whole Macaronesia, has been used as cut flower always. In this item I´ve decided to wrap the floral stems in leaves of same plant, to immerse them in pipes of test to create this "floating" effect and that show off to be suspended in the ambient. The capsule that wraps the flowers does the effect of the stem... A different way of highlighting the beauty that has this flower by itself.

Lineal de búcaros cuadrados para sala de juntas y decoración salas adyacentes. Dos tipos de orquídea: Phalaenopsis y Cymbidium con labores en hojas de Lily- Grass, Cordyline "Tattoo" y cobertura interior en hoja de Heliconia.

Lines way of  squared vases for meeting room and decoration for adjacent rooms. Two different types of orchid: Phalaenopsis and Cymbidium with works in leaves of Lily - Grass, Cordyline "Tattoo" and coverage inside pots in Heliconia's leaf.

ZANTHEDESCHIAS IN ASYMMETRY.

Calas domadas al "soplete" en terminación de tallo con hojas de Cordyline púrpura y remate en flor de alcachofa. Búcaro alto de líneas simples con mucha agua para recrear un ambiente de transparencia.

Calla Lillies tamed to the "blowpipe" in completion of stem with Cordyline's purple leaves and auction in flower of artichoke. High vase of simple lines with a plenty of water down to recreate an environment of transparency.

BODEGÓN DE MANZANAS, LIMAS, ALCACHOFAS Y PHALAENOPSIS.

Una cocina magnífica en un entorno exclusivo y unos platos sorprendentes hacen de su labor un referente exclusivo, donde se dan cita los paladares que buscan en la restauración una contínua sorpresa.

Ella me sugirió una decoración neutra, en tonalidades de verde, con toques frutales ácidos y la sensación de frescor en la elección floral. Buscaba una idea que resaltara los valores de la cocina sana y que mantuviera una consonancia con la estación primaveral que estos días nos invade.

El resultado es esta composición dispuesta en montículo salpicada por el blanco puro y delicado de las orquídeas "falena".


Norema Salinas New Catering surprises like always... This time in Bulthaup (Santa Engracia 115, Madrid). A magnificent kitchen in an exclusive environment and a few surprising dishes they do of her labor an exclusive modal, where they are given she mentions the taste that look in the cuisine restoration for the surprise continuous one.

She suggested  a neutral decoration to me, in tonalities of green, with fruit-bearing acid touches and the sensation of freshness in the floral choice.  She was looking for an idea that was highlighting the values of the healthy cuisine and that was supporting an agreement with the spring station that these days invades us.

The result is this composition arranged in mound splashed by the pure and delicate white of the orchids "falena".

Dos variaciones sobre Phalaenopsis en Cornus Sanguínea trabajada en doma fría japonesa. Formas circulares, triangulares y trapezoidales para crear espacio y movimiento.  A-cero In Floral.

Two variations on Phalaenopsis in Cornus Sanguínea. That´s been made on cold Japanese taming. Circles, triangles and trapezoidal forms to create space and movement. A-cero in Floral.

CATTLEYA´S MENDITXO & VRIESEA SPLENDENS.

¡Vuelven los 70!... Hasta en la decoración floral. El rojo, el verde y pinceladas de estilo naïf, que a su vez evocan las figuras planas de "El aduanero Rousseau" de Laval, quien nunca vio una selva pero la imaginó perfecta de cromatismo. En estos años, las hojas verdes de Monstera Deliciosa y las bromelias, (Vrieseas, Aechmeas Fasciatas, Neoregelias y Tillandsias) causaban furor desde los interiores de los apartamentos del "Silk Stocking District" (Upper East Side, NYC) hasta los seguidores del movimiento hippie nacido en los sesenta que perduran en Goa y Christiania. Las orquídeas todavía eran un lujo para las clases medias y se producían para colecciones privadas, o con fines científicos y de divulgación.


Esta creación está compuesta de Vriesea, Cornus Sanguinea, Jatropha Podagrica y Cattleya Aurantiaca... Porque ahora las orquídeas son símbolo de buen gusto para quienes las disfrutan.

70´s come back... Even in floral decoration. The red and the green ones and brushstrokes of  naïf style, that in turn evoke the flat figures of " The customs officer Rousseau " of Laval, who never saw a jungle but imagined it perfect of chromatism. In these years, the green leaves of Monstera Deliciosa and the bromelias, (Vrieseas, Aechmeas Fasciatas, Neoregelias and Tillandsias) were causing rage from the interiors of the apartments of the " Silk Stocking District " (Upper East Side, NYC) up to the followers of the movement hippie born in the sixties that last in Goa and Christiania. The orchids still were a luxury for the middle class yet and were produced for private collections, or with scientific purposes and for spreading.

This creation is composed of Vriesea, Cornus Sanguinea, Jatropha Podagrica and Cattleya Aurantiaca... Cause now the orchids are a symbol of good taste for those who enjoy them.

VARIACIONES DE PHALAENOPSIS EN CORNUS PARA A-CERO IN.

Entre las múltiples combinaciones que se pueden aplicar a la orquídea Phalaenopsis se encuentran distintos tipos de ramas en tonos rojos, púpuras y casi negros. Si bien se elaboran composiciones con Salix Tortuosa en tono marrón, para esta composición he elegido el Cornus Sanguinea que adapta tonalidades hasta casi el negro integral.

Trabajando el Cornus dándole forma, se consiguen unos resultados que agrandan la espacialidad del conjunto creando volumen pero aligerando la perspectiva de los tallos de orquídea, con un resultado armónico sin saturación visual.

Among the multiple combinations that can be applied to the Phalaenopsis orchid, they find different types of branches in red tones, purples and almost black. Though compositions are elaborated by Salix Tortuosa in brown tone, for this composition I have chosen the Cornus Sanguinea who adapts tonalities up to almost the integral black.

Working the Cornus giving it form, there are obtained a few results that enlarge the space of the set creating volume but lightening the perspective of the stems of orchid, with a harmonic final without visual saturation.
